Supporting Pakistan
A separate newsletter that I'd like to write for one of my subscribers.
Trials. Persecution. Rejection. Slavery. None of those sound fun to anyone. I can say that much with full confidence. Something else I can say though is that God has told us through his word that his followers should expect trials and persecution. Trials and persecution against christians is very real to this day… some countries more than others. One country I have been made aware of that is dealing with this to a very rough extent is Pakistan.
I have been told about the persecution and enslavement of christians there are would love to give you guys and opportunity to learn more about it and possibly donate if you feel like God is calling you in that direction.

Three of us have been supporting a Christian village in the Punjabi region for 13 years. I had no idea how much suffering, deprivation and prejudice the Christians were subjected to until I got involved. A great number of these people are indentured servants due to debt and work for food.
There is a least number of people who listen the voice of God and follow Him but those who listen to His voice and follow Him are called the light of the world. (Matt 5:14-16)
